The Blogging Gorilla

Is this the blogging gorilla?
Let’s be honest. If you’ve followed the TGG Blog for any period of time, you know it has seen it’s share of high and low activity. Coming off a season of high activity (13 posts in the last 12 weeks by 10 different authors) I thought I would share some of the ideas we’ve recently implemented to help make blogging easier for us. Hopefully these can help you and your organization tackle what sometimes feels like the 300lb blogging gorilla.

Football Players and Rock Stars

My home sits about a quarter of a mile from the Minnesota Vikings Summer Training Camp. Every year at this time, a caravan of big media trucks equipped with satellite video equipment rolls into town. Camera crews rove around for a couple days picking up footage of the fanfare and getting interviews. In the end, only a few short moments of video ever make it onto the evening news. And in those few short moments, I am given a limited perspective of what has been going on all week just a couple blocks over.
