TechMecca 2007 - Day 2

December 02, 2007 brad

Hey everybody,

Well after a great week in Vegas we are all back home. It was a GREAT trip and from our perspective the event was a great success. I made some new contacts and believe the conference was a bit of a tipping point for us and our products. We’d like to thank all the people that help put TechMecca together and having us as exhibitors as well as a speaker (twice!). It was fun! We filmed a lot of stuff from the conference some of which is good, some which isn’t but hey…that’s the greatness of living in today’s world. Record everything and decide later, right?!

Anyway, as promised, here is my presentation I gave on Tuesday of last week on ‘Web 2.0 and your FI – The Consumers’. The presentation is a total rewrite from my other presentation. Feel free to share this with anyone else and for anyone that comes across the site and is interested in me speaking on this or a like topic please contact me at brad [at] thegarlandgroup dot net.

Brad, It was a pleasure to meet you last week at TechMecca. Your presentation was great and I believe it will open the eyes of a lot of FIs who need to take the social aspect of the Internet into consideration for better interactivity with their customers/members and potential business. Thank you for your time, presentation, and conversation at the conference last week. Take care, Jeff Cross

Hey! You are right. Thanks for this comment. I think this could help also.

Thanks Jeff, that's very kind of you to say and glad you liked the presentation! I think we can all be apart of educating bankers by just being apart of the evolving conversation online and showing them how and what people are doing on the Web.
